Neighborhoods in Da Nang

An Thuong is Da Nang's backpacker-meets-beach neighbourhood, a grid of lanes running inland from My Khe Beach. The district packs in rooftop bars, seafood barbecue restaurants, craft-beer pubs and budget hostels — all within walking distance of the sand.

The Hoa Vang district west of Da Nang is a patchwork of rice paddies, river valleys and jungle-clad hills. Day trips venture to hot springs, waterfalls and rural homestays where visitors experience village life far from the coastal urbanisation.

An Thuong Walking Street (also known as the "Beer Street") is Da Nang's main entertainment district near My Khe Beach. This pedestrianized strip buzzes with craft beer bars, rooftop lounges, restaurants, and live music.

Bach Dang Riverside Promenade is a scenic walking path along the western bank of the Han River, offering unobstructed views of Dragon Bridge, Han River Bridge, and the city's illuminated skyline.
