A less touristy night market beloved by locals for affordable Taiwanese street food..

Liuhe Night Market is Kaohsiung's most internationally famous street market, stretching for six blocks along Liuhe 2nd Road near the Formosa Boulevard MRT station. Open nightly since the 1950s, it serves an encyclopaedic range of Taiwanese street food, from grilled seafood to papaya milk.

Ruifeng Night Market is a sprawling, maze-like market in the Zuoying district that locals consider superior to the more tourist-oriented Liuhe. Over 1,000 stalls crowd a low-rise block, offering everything from bubble tea to clothes to carnival games.
