Shopping in Colombo

Colombo City Centre is a modern mixed-use development in the Slave Island district, combining a large shopping mall, entertainment complex, and residential towers. It offers international retail brands and dining not readily found elsewhere in the city.

Arcade Independence Square is a beautifully restored colonial-era shopping and dining precinct adjacent to Independence Memorial Hall. The arcade combines heritage architecture with upscale boutiques, cafés, and a cinema.

The Dutch Hospital Shopping Precinct is Colombo's oldest building still in commercial use — a 17th-century Dutch-era hospital in the Fort district, meticulously restored into an upscale dining and shopping complex.
