Seongsan Ilchulbong (Sunrise Peak) is a dramatic volcanic tuff cone rising 182 meters above the sea on Jeju's eastern tip. Formed by a hydrovolcanic eruption about 5,000 years ago, its bowl-shaped crater and steep cliffs are a UNESCO World Heritage site. The peak is famed for its spectacular sunrises over the ocean.

Seopjikoji is a scenic coastal promontory on Jeju's eastern coast, offering sweeping views of Seongsan Ilchulbong across the water. The headland features volcanic cliffs, wild rapeseed flower fields (brilliant yellow in spring), and a distinctive lighthouse. It gained nationwide fame as a filming location for K-dramas.

Sangumburi Crater is a unique volcanic formation — a maar crater that erupted explosively without producing lava flows, leaving a deep bowl 650 meters wide and 100 meters deep. Unlike Hallasan's summit crater, Sangumburi sits at relatively low elevation amid grasslands, and its interior supports a dense subtropical forest ecosystem.
