Amer (also spelled Amber) is the historic town nestled at the base of Amber Fort, preceding Jaipur as the Kachwaha capital. Its narrow lanes are lined with old havelis, artisan workshops, and small temples, offering an unhurried glimpse into Rajasthan's pre-Jaipur history.

The Pink City is Jaipur's historic walled quarter, painted in its signature terracotta-pink since 1876 when Maharaja Ram Singh II ordered the city decorated to welcome the Prince of Wales. Inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2019, its grid-plan streets, bazaars, and palace gateways offer a sensory experience unique in India.

Civil Lines is the leafy, colonial-era quarter south of the walled city where the British administration once operated. Today it blends heritage bungalows with boutique hotels, modern cafes, art galleries, and Jaipur's contemporary cultural scene.
