Little Venice is Mykonos's most photographed waterfront quarter — a row of 18th-century houses built right on the sea's edge, their colourful wooden balconies hanging over the crashing waves. At sunset the entire strip glows amber and fills with cocktail-sipping visitors.

Mykonos Town (Chora) is a labyrinthine Cycladic settlement of dazzling white cubic houses, narrow marble-paved alleys, and hidden churches. Deliberately confusing in layout — designed to disorient invading pirates — it rewards aimless wandering.

Ano Mera is Mykonos's only inland village — a quiet, traditional settlement centred on a tree-shaded square with a few tavernas and the imposing Tourliani Monastery. It offers a glimpse of island life away from the resort hustle.
