Beaches in Perth

Cottesloe Beach is Perth's most beloved coastal strip, a crescent of fine white sand flanked by Norfolk Island pines and the grassy Marine Parade. Its calm, turquoise water and Indian Ocean sunsets have made it a local icon since the early 1900s.

Scarborough Beach is Perth's most energetic surf beach, backed by a recently redeveloped $100 million foreshore precinct with an ocean pool, skate park, and amphitheatre. It draws surfers, families, and beachgoers year-round.

Mettams Pool is a sheltered natural rock pool along the northern coastal cliffs between Trigg and Watermans Bay. Its reef-protected lagoon offers calm, clear water ideal for snorkelling among tropical fish and soft corals.
